Privilege 615 "Audaz" - a 61 foot sailing catamaran set up for full day private charters. The flybridge has a shaded lounge area, aft there is a dining table by the water and a wide swim platform. Inside, the saloon is bright with panoramic windows, and the galley is equipped like a normal kitchen. Crew quarters are separate, which keeps guest areas private.
All helm work, navigation and service are handled by the crew.
Possible route (9 hours)
Departure from La Lonja Marina in Palma. On the way out you get the cathedral and the old town off the bow, plus the main waterfront lined with yachts and small local boats. Once clear of the harbor the course follows the southwest coast. The shoreline drops lower, with sandy beaches and small coves cut between rock.
First stop in Cala Portals Vells. This area is made up of three small coves with a sand bottom and pine trees on the slopes. Along the shore there are natural caves you can reach by dinghy. The bay is sheltered from the wind and usually flat, good for swimming straight off the stern and relaxing on board. Local boats do come in, but even with some traffic it stays quiet. This is an easy place to spend a few hours, swim and have lunch on board.
After the break the route continues toward Port d Andratx. The run goes along the west side of Mallorca, past cliffs and small villages. Andratx sits in a deep natural harbor backed by the Tramuntana hills. White houses climb the slopes between pines and terraces with cafés. Down at the water you see working fishing boats and private moorings. The harbor is calm and works well as a short stop before heading back.
On the return leg there is usually an anchorage at Cala Illetes. This is a narrow inlet with a sandy beach and rock ledges that block the wind. The water is clear and warm, easy entry for a last swim.
The final run goes back along the coast toward Palma. Coming in, the cathedral stands over the bay and the evening light hits the water. The catamaran returns to La Lonja Marina at the end of the day.

Sailing since childhood, yachting since my teens, and a life at sea.
