"Beyond" - a 51-ft sailing catamaran with five cabins and six heads, suited for up to ten guests. The format works for day runs and moves between anchorages without pressure on space. Pickup can be arranged anywhere between Saint-Martin and Grenada, Beyond boards the group at the agreed point.
The skipper has ocean experience across the Caribbean, the Med and the Pacific and handles both routing and onboard logistics. The cook-stew with charter practice runs the galley across Asian and European menus and keeps service so guests do not deal with details during the day.
Possible route (overnight aboard)
Departure from Le Marin and a short passage toward Sainte-Anne. The yacht anchors on sand in a naturally sheltered area, protected from the prevailing easterly breeze. Clear, shallow water makes this an easy first swim stop.
The route then continues toward Pointe Borgnèse. The point is known for a fringing reef with gorgonians and sponges, alternating with patches of sand and sea grass. This area works well for relaxed snorkeling directly from the boat or from shore.
In the afternoon the yacht proceeds west toward the Anses d’Arlet area. Anse Dufour is a common turtle spot: green turtles feed over the grass beds in shallow water, and the rocky edges read clearly in a mask. Overnight anchorage is typically set in Grande Anse d’Arlet. The bay offers a sandy bottom, good holding and generally calm water.
In the morning a short leg is made toward Rocher du Diamant, the standalone rock off the south west tip of Martinique. Landing is restricted due to protection status as a seabird nesting site, so the stop is a slow pass for viewing from the boat rather than a landing.
After that the yacht returns south toward Le Marin. Weather permitting, there is an option for a final swim stop off Sainte-Anne or a second stop at Pointe Borgnèse before re-entering the marina.
